SESEGRS is initiated by Teresa Mae Lassak and Abigail Bull in 2006. It is aimed to provide a platform for graduate students within SESE to interactivate with each other about their research.

Now SESEGRS is passed on to Chunpeng Zhao and Pei-ying Lin, both are seismology graduate students.

For 2008 Fall semester, each seminar contrains two speakers, each of whom has a half hour to present their research and answer questions.

1. Host a seminar for SESE graduate students to show their research content to everyone who are interested.

2. Provide a platform for students to interactivate with each other about their reseach.

3. Faculties will be invited occationally to bring us the front of reseach in their fields.
